The Jersey Devil is a creature of legend, a legend passed down through the years to a whole new generation of people,
some worried, some suspicious of the legend's validity. The legend is as long as it is varied, because no one quite knows
how the story goes. Some believe that a baby was cursed by townsfolk after a women had an affair with a british soldier, while
others have much different stories, including some that revolve around the mother being a witch. Is the curse of a small town
really enough to turn a child into a monster? Do witches really exist? Ones that harness enough power to do this to a child?
Or is this all a hoax? Who knows. Maybe someday we'll know all of the answers, but until then, stay away from New Jersey....

The Many Forms of JD-
As you can see to the right, the Jersey Devil is widely believed to have the head of a horse, the wings of a giant bat,
and the body of a lizard coupled with the appendages of a horse. Obviosuly no one has ever seen the beast in broad daylight
(or at all based on your beliefs) but this is what has become widely accepted as it's common form.
Some believe that
the beast can take many forms, others say it is much more dog like in appearance. Size is also a point of speculation, as
some believe the monster is daerfish, while others believe it could stand 20 feet tall.
